First, start looking for votes in places which have not voted for Labour MPs before (Hastings, Worthing), but where the Conservative vote is 'soft'.

Second, form consortia of local authorities to complement metropolitan mayoralties, and to develop economic and social development plans, based on local procurement. Where Labour can show that it can change things (e.g. Wales, Manchester) it wins.

Third, re-build the lost ior decayed nstitutions of the labour movement through re-purposing local and regional Labour Party offices as food banks, community centres etc.
