An unasked question about Mr. Greensill

Many questions have been asked, and rightly so, about the role in government of the Australian financier Lex Greensill. However, a rather significant question remains: why was a strategic proportion of British industry dependent on his rather dubious stewardship ? If we think that Britain's steel industry is of strategic importance, then there should be a strategic plan to protect it. If not, then we need to think of a strategic plan to foster other industries to take its place.
